House of Dandy If you are in a relationship; be it the one you were born into or the one you created, pain is inevitable. Simple reason being that we are humans, mortals, and it is in human nature to cause pain, to make mistakes. Even when it feels like the right thing, like a situation where you lie to protect someone you love, they can still find it hurtful because of differing views. Even if a person dedicates thier life to being and doing good, because of ''differing views'', something they do would come off as hurtful to someone in thier life. Hurt and pain is inevitable. That's the simple truth. We only just learn how to deal with such times when it comes because it will.

Tosin  Her leg ached. Her waist ached. Her neck ached. Dinma was all shades of uncomfortable and didn't know which part of herself to rely on. She turned her neck in quick rotations in an attempt to reduce the ache but it did her no good. She cursed within. This was supposed to be a fun and happy day, not one filled with aches from all parts of her body. The fact that She had been an usher did no good for her. Two hours is a long time to have been standing. She sighed resignedly. The girl beside her turned and smiled at her sympathetically, she managed a weak smile in return. The Security officials were still perambulating, disappearing and reappearing, she dared not sit. If she wasn't spotted from the podium, the officials would certainly see her. Only one person had been excused to sit because of illness and it had been announced to avoid display of smart stupidity. Happy New week! If it's not starting happy, declare happiness and joy for yourself, yes, you have that power. There lived a man who had financial difficulties. Business wasn't going well, despite how hard he tried. Then came a Sunday, he went to church as usual to worship. During the exhortation, the pastor shared the following scripture; Ecclesiastics 11: 1 Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.

Good morning lovelies. Hope you had a lovely weekend? If not, read here . I stay with my younger brother and we both are night crawlers but sometimes sleep overtakes us while waiting for the light to be restored. The light is not static but we know the timelines. And while waiting, we keep busy with our phone doing the little work we can do until light is restored. And whenever we sleep off while using our phones, it's usually till the next morning when the light is off and our battery is dead or flat.

So I have one small long gist for you people. My mind has been fighting me. Lol yes it has a mind of it's own, true talk. The battle that goes on in my mind everyday is a real struggle. Most times it's funny e.g #In church

If you don’t, it’s either you eventually die or you become toxic to your environment; always giving off violent, depressed, distant, angry and sad emotions and reactions. Stop neglecting yourself because you are chasing your dreams else you won’t catch up to it. Eat well. Sleep well. Rest well. Pray well. Have leisure time that doesn’t involve washing your clothes or studying. Play games too, once in a while. Laugh out loud too, go for medical checkups. Treat illnesses properly. I pick up my pen to record in my diary on how my life has been or should I say how my life has always been and still is, in the past month. Unfortunately, I have nothing new to write. It’s basically the same old story with, just different landmarks.

Happy New Year! Wow, how time flies. It’s 2017 already! Can you believe it?! I remember 2015 like it was yesterday! LOL. Many have New Year ‘projections’, many don’t have. Many couldn’t care less if it’s a new year or an old one. Many care a lot because they hope things turn around for them. But whatever you are feeling or thinking, just drop the negativity in you….the negative thoughts, negative confessions, negative beliefs. However bleak life looks right now, whatever mountain of problems you got going on, whatever worries sleep out of your life, let it go. Open your mind to good things, regardless of what surrounds you, speak positively however hopeless your situation might seem, confess AGAINST the negative, don’t prop it up. Have a positive mindset. Have positive thoughts. Have positive confessions. Have a positive attitude……work hard, drop the procrastination, drop the laziness, drop the comfort for a while, read that book, finally actually study that bib...
