A NEW BEGINNING

For some time now, I've been considering starting a blog. I however started working towards it December last year and the headache eh! The technicalities is just much and I just happen not to be a technical person. My drive for perfection drove me to learning more about blogging. I took to google and came across terms I've not heard of before like domain name,  web hosting and the like and understanding was quite difficult, worse of all the name I had in mind was already taken, I almost got discouraged but for my love for writing and also, it didn't really matter how the blog looks, it isn't a money making blog though I wouldn't mind that happening in the near future, lol. I finally opened a wordpress and a blogger blog but I'm sticking with this.

SO WHAT WILL I BE BLOGGING ABOUT?

I considered a lot of things excluding news blogging. I just want to share the truths in me and my personal musings meant to inspire you to be better and do best. As a start, I'll post on Tuesdays, Thursdays  and Saturdays.

MONDAY MOTIVATION: Do good

Two stories.

BE INSPIRED

Happy New week! If it's not starting happy, declare happiness and joy for yourself, yes, you have that power.

There lived a man who had financial difficulties. Business wasn't going well, despite how hard he tried. Then came a Sunday, he went to church as usual to worship. During the exhortation, the pastor shared the following scripture; Ecclesiastics 11: 1 Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.

WALK OF SHAME...WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN

Her leg ached.
Her waist ached.
Her neck ached.
Dinma was all shades of uncomfortable and didn't know which part of herself to rely on. She turned her neck in quick rotations in an attempt to reduce the ache but it did her no good. She cursed within. This was supposed to be a fun and happy day, not one filled with aches from all parts of her body. The fact that She had been an usher did no good for her. Two hours is a long time to have been standing. She sighed resignedly. The girl beside her turned and smiled at her sympathetically, she managed a weak smile in return. The Security officials were still perambulating, disappearing and reappearing, she dared not sit. If she wasn't spotted from the podium, the officials would certainly see her. Only one person had been excused to sit because of illness and it had been announced to avoid display of smart stupidity.
She picked the ceremony booklet from her seat for the umpteenth time to check progress. There was still three pages …
