BE INSPIRED / FIVE WAYS TO KICK-START YOUR DAY


Hello blog readers! I've been away for ages right?! Am so sorry dearies. School has been tough, dragging me left, right, center. Meeting new people, making new friends, creating new memories. It's just been so much that I'm still staggering a bit. I can't promise to be frequent all the time but I'll try. You guys are always in my heart and I can't forget. How's the new year coming along? Hope we are moving along the road of purpose? If not, it's not too late to join the moving train. Happy Easter in advance.

In today's "tuesday" inspirational drive,(am sorry for the late post, was meant to come up yesterday)i will like share just five simple ways to kickstart your day. Anyday at all...Holidays, workdays, one day leave, sick days..... to make it productive, do these simple things.

1.) Wake up early....Stop snoozing the alarm. Yes, you are tired. We all are but waking early is one sure way to start your day well. If you wake up early, you have more time to do more but if you wake up late, you'll keep telling yourself, it's late already, when will I finish his one to do this one kwanu? tomorrow abeg, it's almost afternoon na....excuses upon excuses. Wake up early. 6am is the latest early I can think of especially if you are a very busy person. It's not easy but it's a habit worth having.

2.) Have ur morning devotion. This issue has been over-flogged but only because it's not observed. If you are too tired, sit up for about 5 minutes and you will feel stronger to pray. You can also stand if kneeling or siting will take you into another realm of sleep. Better still, leave d devotional book and just worship God and end with prayers. Read up the devotional later. Speak positivity into your day. Whatever way you choose, just be sure to observe your morning devotion. it gives you a sense of covering.

3.) Make your bed....yes! It gives you a sense of accomplishment. Tidy the room when possible but if you can't, just make your bed. It gives joy to come home to a made bed.
 Take your bath too. This is for those having a day's leave or on holiday. You tend to lazy around all day when you are still on your night wear.

4.) Exercise and eat breakfast: yep, the exercise thingy may not be a convenient everyday something but try as much as you can. It energizes you for the whole day. Eat breakfast too, saves you unnecessary stomach rumblings except you are fasting. It's already established that it is the most important meal of the day.

5.) Write: everyone can write. It's therapeutic. You need not have it as a talent. Write whatever it's going on in your mind. Write how you want your day to be, things you intend to do and cross it out at the end of the day. Speak and communicate with the book or diary. There are some things you may not be able to tell someone, write it down. It's relieving and refreshing.

My heart is filled with gratitude. At the end of last year, I wasn’t in a good place. There was this heart-gnawing fear. A new phase was coming in my life and the uncertainty of the future just ate me away. My relationship with God was on a zig-zag lane and the downward lane seemed to last for longer periods than the upward. I was honestly so scared about the future. A lot of what ifs.
