SMILE ONE MORE TIME

The face above best describes how I was smiling after I woke up this morning. I even
did a little dance.
Not because it's Friday lol. I sensed that a 'friend' was not in a good place and i didn't know how to reach out. Eventually i did reach out in a different way and surprisingly the message was gotten and bam! my day was made before it even started. Lol

Yeah some days are not just low but very low, some days are not just high but very high and some days are just emptiness impersonified. In your low moments, days or seasons, always remember the good times, the good memories, the days you genuinely smiled and it felt like the joy won't stop and then fight. No, it won't be forever.
Those happy moments are not lies. Don't forget them.
However you feel now, are just feelings, though the realest thing there is now, they are not true.

Sometimes you fight and fall deeper. Sometimes you fight and loose.
But sometimes you win.
Sometimes you fly
Just never surrender.
Know this all the time; that it gets better.

Have a wonderful weekend

Love

WALK OF SHAME...WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN

Her leg ached.
Her waist ached.
Her neck ached.
Dinma was all shades of uncomfortable and didn't know which part of herself to rely on. She turned her neck in quick rotations in an attempt to reduce the ache but it did her no good. She cursed within. This was supposed to be a fun and happy day, not one filled with aches from all parts of her body. The fact that She had been an usher did no good for her. Two hours is a long time to have been standing. She sighed resignedly. The girl beside her turned and smiled at her sympathetically, she managed a weak smile in return. The Security officials were still perambulating, disappearing and reappearing, she dared not sit. If she wasn't spotted from the podium, the officials would certainly see her. Only one person had been excused to sit because of illness and it had been announced to avoid display of smart stupidity.
She picked the ceremony booklet from her seat for the umpteenth time to check progress. There was still three pages …
