Three quotes from Tyler Perry to inspire you guys this bright morning.

·         It doesn’t matter if a million people tell you what you can’t do, or if ten million tell you no. If you get one yes from God, that’s all you need.

·         It’s not an easy journey to get to a place where you forgive people. But it is such a powerful place, because it frees you.

·         I didn’t have a catharsis for my childhood pain, most of us don’t, and until I learned how to forgive those people and let it go, I was unhappy.

Tyler Perry is an American actor, filmmaker, author and songwriter, all, in the gospel genre. He’s a lot in one but he didn’t get there easy. He grew up in a dysfunctional family, his father maltreated him all the time that he at one time contemplated suicide. He was sexually molested when he was ten years by a friend’s mother and by others too. His growing up was generally rough. He was inspired by someone’s talk on how writing can have a therapeutic effect to start pursuing his career of movie making. Tyler beat the odds and went on to succeed. At times, he would sleep in his car as he lost everything when he devoted every single breath to his career. He speaks a lot now about God, forgiveness (which he said set him free to move forward), dignity, self-worth, love, family etc. which are reflected a lot in his films. Today, he has a budding career. From nothing, he climbed to something with God.

Many give lots of excuses why they don’t turn out well, no money, dysfunctional family, no job, bad roots, no family, no love or care from anyone. This are all great excuses, very great and acceptable excuses but they are not enough. People have gone through worse and emerged at the top, what makes you think yours is worse and it can’t get better? Have you forgotten that the King of the whole Earth cares? You can do anything, you can be anything, just get a yes from Him. I hope to see you at the top with Him as our anchor.

Two stories.

Happy New week! If it's not starting happy, declare happiness and joy for yourself, yes, you have that power.

There lived a man who had financial difficulties. Business wasn't going well, despite how hard he tried. Then came a Sunday, he went to church as usual to worship. During the exhortation, the pastor shared the following scripture; Ecclesiastics 11: 1 Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.

If you are in a relationship; be it the one you were born into or the one you created, pain is inevitable. Simple reason being that we are humans, mortals, and it is in human nature to cause pain, to make mistakes. Even when it feels like the right thing, like a situation where you lie to protect someone you love, they can still find it hurtful because of differing views. Even if a person dedicates thier life to being and doing good, because of ''differing views'', something they do would come off as hurtful to someone in thier life.
Hurt and pain is inevitable. That's the simple truth. We only just learn how to deal with such times when it comes because it will.
